I reckon this is one of the stupidest things I have heard:

What the f**k does it have to do with being a strong coach?
Gee Drown’s hair looks ridiculous but doubt it bothers BA!!
FFS also anyone with teenage boys know mullets are the latest trend!!!
For a lot of people, 'individual expression' gets in the way of self discipline, by which I mean uniformity helps them get in the mindset. It's a lowest common denominator thing that maybe isn't so necessary for professional athletes who have proven they have their shit in one sock. But for a lot of the younger ones who have proven nothing or not yet learnt good habits it can keep them focused to be forced to think about their dress and bearing.

Listening to Buzz Rothfield in the weekly Telecrap podcast. He was talking about Isaac Moses and how he feels sorry for him. He says that Moses should not have been pinged “because they all do it”. He also then unloaded on Tim Mannah for dobbing him in.

WTF is Rothfield married to his sister or something?

I’m sure Buzz felt sorry for the Eels when they were found to be cheating, because “every team does it”.

Everyone might do it, but he was the one who got caught. Deserves everything he gets. As for Tim Mannah, good on him for exposing the f**kwit.

Rugby is not being aired atm, he probabaly doesn't know the difference as League got a fair bit of news coverage over there on the weekend, especially Sivo's steam roller job on Tedesco

He's a punter, so he can kick, but I suspect he can also run fast and tackle. Since these are valuable skills in 'rugby' it's understandable that he might think he would kill it. What he doesn't understand, along with so many people who have watched the sport for decades, is that it is your weaknesses that determine how far you go in rugby. Or at least in rugby league.

Kicking for height and distance is only a small part of what a 'rugby' kicker does. And cover tackling a 90kg punt returner once a game is very different from having to make first contact with the ball on some linebacker-sized merkin running straight at you, not to mention the endurance component.

Correct. I often mull over how Jarryd Hayne is never spoken of anymore. He was Ponga now with the world at his feet. As you say, it was what Hayne wasn't good at that cost him NRL immortality.

Punters aren’t really known for their tackling skills.
If a punt returner gets tackled by the punter in the NFL his teammates give him plenty of shit about it. Would love to see him try though.

Not sure how well he could run either. Punters don’t run. At all.

To be fair he will always go down as the merkin who won almost as many Dally M medals as wooden spoons.

But this is a black punter talking himself up, so I assume he's a bit special. The first word in his Twitter bio is 'Unicorn', implying he's rare or unique. It's that because he's black or because he can run and tackle? I don't think NFL teams care if their punters are black, but they would definitely want one who can contribute to the play after the ball is kicked.
