I am etremely happy to report that cam765426718 just revealed on the vossy fan show that his most hated ground is Parramatta Stadium - because they havent been very successful there and the fans hate them

Job well done all ... tremendous effort ....pats on the back all round

Great stuff.

Hopefully he never gets the opportunity to taint the new one.

So Todd now says players passing the ball at an opposition player from the play the ball is now a penalty. Does it need to be? Why not just let it go? They've already disadvantaged themselves by trying to get a penalty. Players will stop doing it soon enough.

he is the king of the kneejerk reaction
we are in the middle of the season here don't you think it's a bit late to go tinkering with the rules?

and he is (as usual) ignoring the real problem if players get out of the bloody ruck instead of lying there like gutshot deer they won't get the ball thrown at them

I'm mystified about how the refs ever thought that passing the ball into a player who was not in the way is a penalty. The simple fix would be to tell the refs to stop awarding penalties, you idiots.

Players can’t disappear and the examples on the weekend were of the dummy half deliberately passing the ball into a player that wasn’t in the way.

I like what the NRL have done. It’s now clear that what happened on the weekend is not on and I doubt you’ll see it again.

I take IALB’s point that if the refs just treat it as play on it will also (eventually) send a message but what Todd has done will be much more effective.

Just calling play on if fine ... there is a risk you will lose the ball or at least get smashed n waste a tackle picking it up

With them making it a penalty you can be guaranteed some ref will make some shit call giving a team a penalty for an unintentional one

What Will Smith did was ridiculous and to be honest I was embarrassed one of our players would do that. If the referee had a pair and called a knock on, I would have had no problem with it. He knocked the ball forward deliberately..

There is that risk.

Now we'll have attacking players afraid to hit defenders with the ball. And you just know we're going to have some dumb penalties from this. It was actually a chance to reduce the penalties in the game, but Todd had to make a mountain out of a molehill so he could stand on top of it and we could all admire his leadership. The wanker.
