No I backed Penrith in week 1 of the finals then lost it all on the Raiders the following week. I broke even that year and didn't have any more bets until 2023:

I loved the Cowboys win but had a very bad feeling about the grand final, especially after seeing Gould on Twitter talking about how the Townsville conditions were going to f**k the winner in the grand final. Plus when we win you merkins talk less shit.
