As vile as it is, it is very topical bc of the facebook fake news (Russian ?) manipulation of the us election that Zuckerberg has conceded this week played a part in a distorted result.

We have come to expect that when you jump onto google news or facebook to read a news article that it is based on fact and not made up solely to sway the political process. This has to change so that the end user can be informed if the source can be trusted.

Also the use of your data not just to send ads to your profile but to target swing voters with bullshit.

Btw this fake news thing happens here and I cannot believe that nothing happened to labor party aftet their 11th hour txt messages which purported to be from medicare saying that the libs intended to proceed with privatization. Nothing.
