North Lakes is a pretty tough course (particularly from the back tees). Haven't played there for a couple of years but always enjoy the challenge.
Yep, nice course pretty frustrating when you are hitting them well off the tea. I'd say it's more lack of skill rather than not playing.

Last game of golf I played was at Mongrel Park out at Rouse Hill way back in the day. Dead cat on the fairway and hitting off in the fog amongst other things. At the end of the game we were all having a BBQ near the carpark and this other nuffie who had just finished his round proceeded to seriously beat every panel of his car with all the clubs in his bag before throwing them in the bushes and then drive off. Last game I have played.

Werent they the same place? Or am i confused

From memory Mungarie Park became the Australian Postal Institute (API) golf course and later became the 27 hole Kellyville Country Club.

That is gone now and made way for Rouse Hill Town Centre on part of the land, Rouse Hill High School and some residential lots.

Lynwood is at Pitt Town, not Rouse Hill.

They were less than a 5 minute drive apart but completely different

Rouse hill was a nine hole course with a small shack as a pro shop

Kelleyville was at least 18 holes and had a bar with a few pokies

Yeah i remember playing at mungerie when it was 18 holes ... i still remember nailing the trunk of the huge gum tree in the middle of the first fairway.

Then still played there a fair bit after it went to 27 holes .... they put a few holes on the 2 playing fields next to the club house.

Yeah i remember playing at the rouse hill course ... that was a bit further along windsor rd
