Fatso the Wombat was played by three different marsupials during the long-running series and resided at Featherdale Wildlife Park when not filming.

The original Fatso was replaced in 1986 reportedly due to bad behaviour, with its replacement George lasting until he fell ill in 1990.

Garth played the third incarnation of Fatso from that period until the series' end.
