Well that’s a different argument then poor horse got shot because he broke a leg. I don’t have a problem with horses being sold for pet food. It’s a need that a dead horse can cover. The dogs are different but it’s only the bad ones that do shit like that. I know a dog trainer and he doesn’t do that and hates those type of practices. Some people kill humans and dump them, should we stop breeding?
I've already said that I don't have a super big issue with racing. The idiots on the TV like Gai Waterhouse and the Inglis mob etc literally breed 1,000s of horses and only a tiny percentage even get to race. So let's not fall for the sport of kings romantic crap. Most of the horses end up like Connor Broadhurst.
Does it matter though if the ones that don’t race end up as dog food? Dogs have got to eat something.
They are all over the puppy farm thing.
It will reduce it some I guess but I can see plenty of ways around that. In fact I can see it causing problems for people’s animals that aren’t meant for breeding but end up having a litter.
