Time is in a way relative to your memories. As they fade they become distant and further away. So they feel a long time ago. Things that just happend are fresh in your memory so the feeling is still there.
Imagine if every memory was as fresh as yesterday and didn't fade at all. Would time still exist? How would we feel/judge actual time......
