The real point of my post was that from what I have read and studied, I believe that Pine Gap is Lasseters lost Reef. A gold mine so big, it would blow your mind. If that is true, No Aussie is ever going to see that side of the operation.
Go have a look at it on google maps lol. That reef was IMO very real and reported to be in a location very close to PG..Lasseter turned up somewhere(can't remember where) with a huge nugget and then went back out there. I'm quite convinced about my theory.

Somewhere (i'll find out where as I have the source material for it around here somewhere) There is a half burned letter from Lasseter that was found in a tin buried under one of his fires. It has half the co ordinates of the reef location. That line goes right through.....have a guess where?
