I am visiting my family at castle hill today. I live in the south of sydney. Have decided to do the journey via train.

Illawarra line to town hall.
Then to chatswood.
Then brand new spankin metro.

Metro is nice. Altho not much to see underground so far. But its its you can see the length of the train inside and out the front window.

Ride is alot rougher than i expected. I think the newer heavy rail is smoother. And ffs someone fix the aircon, its like the south pole in here

Cherrybrook station is cool. Theyve planted a heap of cherry trees

I have been getting the train out to Parra Stadium instead if driving of late. Very easy and quite quick.

Well they are probably just ornamental ffs .... the point is they will blossom soon and look awesome .... which is great cos the rest of the line is a long dark cave

Cherrybrook wasn't named due to its lack of cherry growing ability. Give it a couple of weeks and everyone will be poppin' cherries.
