Ive always wondered how its possible for use to copy n paste entire articles from other sites, when everything is heading down a paywall path

this is another reason why links must be provided to articles when they are reproduced, you must give credit to the original author, otherwise its plagiarism

they dont mind as its free advertising as long as its sourced

paywalls are another matter, no issues with them as yet so we allow them to be reproduced

Plagarism and reproducing unsyndicated content are very different things .... reproducing the entire article means no one clicks the link, hence no one has to subscribe and no ad revenue .... I'm willing to bet it wouldn't be looked on favourably

yeh, plagiarism prolly poor choice of words

we've discussed the matter around the drink cooler and we keep an eye on other forums and in short, until some one gets nabbed for reproducing paywalled articles, they are fair game
