I reckon that there is some huge piece of key info that is not public yet. Why haven't they charged him? Is that normal? It's all very odd imo. But thank God she is alive and well I can't even imagine what it would have been like for her parents.

So some guy opens a tent up and takes a 5yld without her making any kind of noise and the parents not hearing a word. What are the chances of that. I am not denying it happened but I reckon the odds are like 50-1 that he was able to do it without waking the kid and the kid screaming and waking the parents.

I call yeah nah on this. Speaking on behalf of all parents out there, if your 4yo is fast asleep, you can pick them up and they will just put their head on your shoulder and keep sleeping. They have no reason to mistrust anyone.

He planned it or they planned it. All are questions that will be asked.

I call yeah nah on this. Speaking on behalf of all parents out there, if your 4yo is fast asleep, you can pick them up and they will just put their head on your shoulder and keep sleeping. They have no reason to mistrust anyone.

Summation what I heard on the news

Police are taking their time on a number of fronts

They said after they arrested him he harmed himself (tried to kill himself maybe ?) in jail. No doubt he was told why he was arrested.

He apparently is in hospital now and they cant interview him until he is fit to be interviewed, otherwise legally it can be used against them ie he wasnt fit to be interviewed

They also need to interview Cleo, which will happen in the days ahead as the right people are being flown in for that

Ill wait till the police release their findings. No point speculating

Speculating is what I assume detectives do to try and piece together a puzzle.
As I said earlier it sounds like a risky thing to do. The guy seems to be mentally ill or not the full quid. I don't think there is more to it then that but of course I am just speculating.
