Right on! Fight the system.

Granted my view is probably tainted by the time I almost had a punch on with a group of friends of one of my housemates one Australia Day because I had the temerity to call out their self-righteous views on the drug society. In my own f**ken home.
If you can't punch people in your own home where can you punch them?

yeh, nar

I listen to Triple J and don't do bongs

Tipple J I don't mind but I feel like it's suited for teenage lefties. It can be a little frustrating.
I prefer ABC radio. And I also don't smoke bongs. But I do have a hash pipe that I spark up now and then. Not often.

If I have half laid a deck is it fine for it to get wet before I have oiled it? I am worried about the rain coming and won't have time to oil.

What's people's view on Linkdtn? I feel it's a bit of a give each other a pat on the head site for adults.

If laid well it shouldn't hurt it, but depending on the timber and how wet it gets you might get fibres swelling up and making it rough, which may require a light sand after first coat to bring it back smooth. There's also a risk of spotting or staining from water.

I've done a few decks, and as a weekend warrior knowing it can take weeks to lay 'cause of available time always coated the timber before laying, which means you can seal the underside as well. Don't really know if that's any better for durability, but it seems to make sense that it would be.

Are you talking about LinkedIn? .... or some new age kid thing I don't get?

Some professions think its very useful way to advertise/find jobs.
But yeah I think its a bit of a wanky networking thing to make others feel warm n fuzzy.

The recreational drug scene as been around since forever and my only 2 cents is that zero tolerance does not save lives.

This is one from my last house, It literally took months to lay on account of working six days a week, but worth it in the end

That's an amazing job. I have oil underneath but wanted to lightly sand tops before oil. What wood is that? I used merbeau for floors and yellow belau for fence. This looks nicer imo. But I am yet to oil my merbeau.

Lives will be lost regardless of policy settings.
No shit. The point is saving lives and not just thumping them with a big stick. Hence why safe injection rooms work. They don't condone drug using, but acknowledge that people will use no matter what the cops do. So you might as well make sure that they are not injecting omo, give them clean needles and somewhere to dispose them. Much better than a Darlinghurst lane.

Probably not but right now there’s varying legalities around them so if you get caught with drugs or having partaken of drugs don’t get shirty if you are punished. Until the rules are changed, you play by the current rules
