Sounds a bit defeatist. Would you roll over so quickly if it was climate change or gun control?Which is what ? Drug trafficking and risk taking teenagers ? The narcs know how to deal with drugs at borders and distribution, but how do you protect kids whilst you're hunting the bad guys ?
I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that we are smart enough to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.Sounds a bit defeatist. Would you roll over so quickly if it was climate change or gun control?
I tend to see a disproportionate focus on end of pipe solutions. I guess it’s easier to focus on them.I'm not saying that at all. I'm saying that we are smart enough to be able to walk and chew gum at the same time.
You can police the drug dealing whilst simultaneously caring with those who partake in illegal substances whether it be recreational or via addiction. Hence safe injection rooms, event pill testing etc. These are harm reduction services and are most definitely part of the solution.
There is a strong correlation between cannabis use and the risk of developing a psychotic disorder.

Causality is inconclusive, which is a good reason to avoid the shit. And yes I used to smoke pot. I know a couple of people who are cooked because of it. Would they have been f**ked if they had never smoked cannabis? The answer is we can't know for sure. But it's not a risk people should be encouraged to take.
Evidenced by it being legal to possess small quantities in numerous jurisdictions across the world.Yes I believe this is true.
But it also helps with epilepsy and other dispoder including insomnia. Better then most sleeping tablets. In moderation it's ok

I think it's a lot harder to drink dangerous quantities of alcohol than it is to consume dangerous amounts of illegal drugs. And those dangerous amounts would be even easier to get if they were legal.
Obviously some people can smoke dope (or binge drink every weekend) with no ill effects. I did in my 20s, as did plenty of merkins I know. But laws are to protect the vulnerable, which includes merkins who should stay away from drugs altogether but can't. Just being 18 doesn't make anyone a responsible adult in itself. If the rest of us have to go without hitting the glass clarinet in order to keep these merkins safe, that's a price I'm willing to pay.
You think Murdoch controls the entirety of the MSM?
It was a fun time for me in those days. Double J would play songs like Rock Lobster by the B52's, swear, as well as have regular input from Captain Goodvibes. In those days I would hang anywhere between the Family Inn (Rydalmere), The Local Inn( West Ryde) and the Musicians Club ( Muso's, Surry Hills).think I was living in Darwin or Victoria back then, so nar
If you play your cards right I'll invite you on as my resident COVID expert.
In the context of the conversation that I just read that as a dumb question. Would have been better off saying 'you are'.do you think he controls the ABC ?
I hallucinated taking a shit. What's the funniest thing you did on acid?
I freaked out at a party when I realised all the dudes there were gay. I couldn't find my car keys to leave and ended up walking from Freshwater to North Sydney. I would've arrived at about seven o'clock in the morning. At some point I remembered that my mate's girlfriend took my keys so I wouldn't be tempted to drive.I did some pretty dam funny things. Well maybe not funny in some people's eyes but it was never harmfull.
It can be but for most people it is a net positive. It helps them relax and connect with other humans, which isn't easy for everyone.Nobody I knew who did drugs did anything harmful. But alcohol? I feel it is a terrible thing. Domestic violence, sexual assaults, fights etc
In the wrong hands it's a terrible drug.
There's plenty of left wing organisations in the MSM.do you think he controls the ABC ?
The other thing that geriatric merkins who didn't experience anything in the 70s and 80s and now want to be experts miss is this.
Weed in 2021 is a completely different proposition. Its been biologically engineered to blow your coight off. The idea that it is harmless is outdated and misguided.
