It’s not about if he wins in court or not. Whatever happens will cause international condemnation and there will be anti vaccination sentiment in lieu of the court outcome. They are stuck in hole of their own making and they keep digging.

There’s that (saving face) and also digging their sovereign heels in. We have blocked entry to rascists, homophobes and political extremists before, so is a huge profile antivaxer appearing in a tennis tournament during a pandemic the same ? Not really comparable on a scale of 1 to 10 in the pub test, however they seem to think that it is an action worth prosecuting. Is it top heavy on the politics vs biosecurity scales, of course. However you can’t deny that the argument has some merit.
