Cheers Eelo. We are a bit time restricted due to leaving the small Lorensons at home and Mrs has a conference in Cairns straight after. So that's why I was looking at PC due to its closeness to Cairns. I'm not ruling Port Douglas out though.

Fair enough. Don't waste your money at the aquarium. It would be better spent at the pub.

WTF is going on with the ABC. I'm just after your thoughts.
Last night (Saturday) their 7 pm news bulletin on tv here in Sydney was the full on Victorian version.
Including almost every article being about Victoria, and the weather and sport report was the same. f**k the AFL news. Who cares about that in Sydney?
I know that the ABC now do a national news bulletin during the week (out of Melbourne), and the local bulletins can be watched on iView but not for hours later.
Why do I have to watch a Victorian news bulletin from Sydney on the national broadcaster?
What's going on? I know there has been budget cuts, but this is just ridiculous.

Unfortunately the Iish chick who does the sport after Paul Kennedy was discoved to be a middle-aged white male couldn't help herself and called it a 'snowman'. There were some raised eyebrows.
