I watched a season. Mediocre. I think you have to be into those comics and superheroes stuff to enjoy it. I wouldn't have a clue what the difference is between Marvel and DC and why anyone cares.
I like some of these alternative superhero shows, to see what they've done differently. I thought the Boys was awesome, as was the Watchmen (the movie not the TV show). I'm intrigued by s1e1 of Umbrella Academy, but I don't like any of the characters so far. It's cool that Elliot Page plays a woman though. Really shows his range as an actor.

I don't know either of those. I watched a bit over a season of Jessica Jones as it was not terrible and I was being encouraged but never really got into it. Traumatized super hero girl likes drinking hard liquor to deal with the fact that evil Dr Who put a chip on her shoulder.

I didn't like Jessica Jones. Or Luke Cage or Daredevil. I couldn't watch more than a couple of episodes. I've enjoyed Marvel's more recent Avengers-linked shows.

Some of these would've been avoided with more testing but how much testing is too much? Air travel is already very expensive. There comes a time when you just have to accept some risk.

I wonder if their pilots and staff get paid more?
I reckon paid less, more desperate and less experience.

Who gives a shit about whether surfers cant surf because of sharks? You enter the shark's environment, then you should do so knowing that its risky, uneccessary and avoidable.

Try having crocs parked on the beach. I see people up here swimming outside of netted areas and shake my head.

Agree. There is a risk in many things we do.

Mischievous headline. His mates say that news of his death hit them like a truck.

Well if you had a wife you wouldn't only get to watch shows you know you'll like. You would watch plenty of shit ones as well.

Growing up we where only allowed 1hr of TV a day.
I just don't get that into it. I can happily just sit outside and look at the sky with a beer or wine or cup of tea and listen to the wireless

well, I would suggest that if someone close to you got taken and knowing the beaches could be made safer, then probably you
If someone I knew got killed by a shark how exactly would I suddenly care about whether surfers can’t surf because of sharks?

If anything it would only strengthen my conviction that people shouldn’t expect to enter their territory and demand that it’s risk free.

I’d probably start a ‘stay out of the water’ campaign and hang out at the Goldie, crash tackling any silly old hippies like yourself at the shoreline to stop you from killing yourselves.
