Yes. A lot of my friends in the mountains get it. You can chose for it to contain THC or not. Can order oil,buds or vapes.
If get buds it is identical to what you'd buy illegaly

Thailand legalised cannabis I think in June/July last year. I was in Phuket in August and a few 'medicinal cannabis' shops had popped up. By the time I was back there in December, there was more cannabis shops than massage shops now!

Completely wrong. You get high as normal mate. I also have a few friends around the city who use the oil for sleep. They have said the ones without THC are garbage.

Any I am not even sure they take THC out rather then different strains but you could be correct. But I know 100% you can get stuff with or without the THC. And to get the stuff people just do a Skype call. Say you have a sore back. Done.
It's a business and is being handed out probably to easily. The people I know are smokers and just prefer this then having to buy off dealers. Costs the same. Almost like it has been price matched.

I had a mate who died of brain cancer ages ago and he was on it for pain, when it first came out the THC was removed

The problem I think with cannabis is in the 70s and 80 a good plant pumped out 7% THC.
Now they have cross bred the things and grow indoors under perfect conditions and nutrients they are getting well over 20% And some closer to 30% That shit will blow your head off. Far more dangerous

Who the f**k cares? It's entertainment, and playing on a bit of parochialism gets folks there feeling good about themselves for a while.

I still remember seeing Shane McGowan (of The Pogues) play in Byron Bay back in the day, and he started by saying "Hello Auckland!". Didn't go down well.

In Portugal they have taken a stance of decriminalisation for over 20 years now.
