Simple as that eh ? Just a simple question ...
I asked Gloria at ChatGPT why they do shit like that and she said.
Some common reasons why internet trolls engage in disruptive and provocative behavior online include:
- Attention-seeking: Trolls may seek attention and validation from others by creating controversy, sparking heated debates, or eliciting emotional reactions from others.
- Anonymity: The anonymity provided by the internet can embolden trolls to say and do things they would not normally do in real life. The feeling of detachment from the consequences of their actions can lead to more aggressive behavior.
- Personal issues: Trolls may be motivated by personal issues such as frustration, anger, or a desire for revenge. They may also have a need for control and power over others.
- Group dynamics: Trolls may be part of a larger group or community that supports or encourages their behavior. The social acceptance of trolling within these communities can normalize the behavior.
So you reckon he's just asking genuine questions ? To me there's definitely a bit of 1 and 4 in there.
