Well wasting money happens everyday. It's all relative. I wasted $4.40 on a coffee on a daily basis
It's not a waste if you enjoy it more than whatever else you may have spent that money on.

Bart meant they wasted their own money and should’ve invested it in super, rental properties or crypto.*injected into the economy
It is interesting how much people spend across a year on a random daily coffee. When I went to an office 5 days per week pre COVID, it was nothing for me to spend more than $35 per week just on coffees. That adds up over a year. I had no issue paying that much for coffee, as I enjoy a coffee.Well wasting money happens everyday. It's all relative. I wasted $4.40 on a coffee on a daily basis
Context: a merkin who is a ceo of a big name financial institution* told me this as we bumped into each other at the car wash morning. #funfact.Inflation:
Omg air fares are so expensive! <books flight>.
Omg a new bathroom has gone up 25%. <signs contract>
Omg harvey norman tvs have gone up 50% since covid <buys schmick 4k>
Hence interest rate rises until the merkins stop spending. Let's not pretend that they are not spending, cos they still are.
As an aside, I went to the cafe down the street from my place where I get my coffee from on a weekend ( used to be every day when I was working from home during covid). Ordered my usual this morning and handed over my $4.50 in correct change... When the dude gives me my coffee, he says, just so you know for next time, the price has gone up, it's $5.30 now... I was stunned... 20% increase just like that!!It is interesting how much people spend across a year on a random daily coffee. Is Schmick 4K a German brand?

Analed by a brazilian with no biscuitAnaled. I can still get a large for $4 - $4.50
$5 seems to be common. I visited a mate in Parra and we grabbed a coffee from some Brasilian place. Cost $14.50 for 2. We questioned it amd they said it's $6.40 normal but 15% surcharge for public holiday.
My mates tried talking them into giving us a free biscuit but they said No.
