Well you nailed it. If you choose to visit, live or run a business from a different country, then you agree to abide by the laws of that country. No point crowing about injustice.

I think it's fair to point out unjust laws in foreign countries. If anything, so merkins know not to visit there.

Warren Fellows fully admits his guilt in narcotics trafficking, but he is certain he was in prison with more than a few innocent merkins who just ran afoul of the Thai system that incentivises cops to stitch foreigners up. He said he would advise anybody to never visit Thailand.

Just had the Jack thing go as I destroying the second car and thought of buddy @IFR33K who might be scolding me for lack of care.


The dangers of backyarding.

I was very fortunate being inside the car and not under it, turning the wheels and then I was about to wind up the second safety Jack under it.

Suddenly I heard a loud metallic clangy kerfumpfy bangy thing, the car fell down as well.

It was a bit of a surprise, but I guessed what happened.

So all my home mechanic friends, don’t you go short on the safety things. This damaged Jack was rated to take a lot more weight than the car and me.

So double or triple the safety and be careful.

I’ve learned that car jacks don’t care about your feelings or your skull.

I’m not game to tell my genuine mechanic next visit. He will be furious.
