Watched a couple of youtube clips of U2 doing their live sphere thing in Las Vegas. A great band and a great concept but not the sheer live force that they used to be. Bono still tidy on the vocals though.

It's interesting how Queen are still a big live band these days. I suspect it's the fact that they have a singer who is still very much in his prime. Even though he was great at the time, I'd say Freddie would now struggle to be anywhere near as good as he was if he was still alive today.

There is a lot of AI Freddie Mercury on YouTube.

I can see concerts being difficult still, but I suspect releasing songs won't be too much of a hassle for ageing or departed bands.
