Pretty much. "Graduating" used to mean something, like you achieved something you worked hard for. Hence a big deal at Uni or finishing year 12....
But these days apparently spending 3 years having a stranger clean your arse and change your clothes after you've soiled yourself and wipe snot from your face is cause for celebration.... Progressive.

No offence, but say no more merkin.... I wondered what your bag was from recent comments....As someone who has worked in the childcare industry for a long time I find this incredibly offensive, for both the educators who work hard to help children get ready for primary school and life in general, but also for the children who have actually achieved a massive goal in their lives by moving on from preschool and entering their primary school phase.
To think these children have had no growth, or haven’t achieved anything other than having someone else do everything for them is a stupid, ridiculous mentality. It’s the kind of thinking that only sees someone like me as a ‘babysitter’ who simply looks after their kids while the ‘real men’ go to work.
It’s just stupid like getting a participation ribbon in a race.

Who is a pre-school graduation even for? The kid or the parent?

Why not the educators?
Only you can answer that. /communicationI’m really not sure how to take this.
Is this an insult?
