Yep. Similar. $6 is a bargain though. $7 is about as good as I get. I’m sure if I went to a big leagues club like Brothers or Cazalay’s I’d get it cheaper.

But I’d also be glassed by someone or end up in a phone booth in Gordonvale…

When I first moved to the bush (June 1966) 7oz beer was 9c, middy 13c, schooner 17 c, can of beer 22c, bottle 40c... Packet of Escort 34cents (20)
You could go out with $2 and come home with loose change..
When we brought the pub, February 14, 1985..Middy of beer went up from 95c to $1. When we sold the pub in 2005, I think a middy was about $2-70...Things have changed, and I very rarely drink these days......
