Trump has basically re-defined what Fake News is. During the US election, Fake News were fabricated stories published to either a) throw mud at political opponents or b) generate clicks for revenue on fake news websites.

Post election Trump has turned that around. Fake News is now anything published that makes the POTUS accountable for his actions or makes him look bad. He whines that the media only reports on the negative stuff and never about the good.

Like Abbott and his "death cult" vote for me and I'll keep you safe, Trump is so obsessed with the "border security" rhetoric, that he and his staff are actually making shit up. Hence the angle that terrorism is being unreported (not true) and Bowling Green Massacre and now the terrorism in Sweden on Saturday.
