Gentlemen

You know I have big noted plenty on here but I want to share something with you. Cryptocurrency or virtual currency is going crazy at the moment. I think there is plenty to be made. I'm not going mad. This shit is real and plenty are making serious money. Only put in what you can afford to lose but yours truly has.

Look at the gains.

Yes it is volatile but read this:

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2015/dec/09/bitcoin-forgotten-currency-norway-oslo-home

Now that is an astonishing gain. However, if he held that bitcoin and sold it at today's bitcoin price:

$2142.21 x 5000. His initial outlay in 2009 of $27 would today be worth $10,711,050.

Let's revisit this in the future and see how it goes. Some are saying that 1 bitcoin will be $500,000 by 2030.

The Japanese just accepted bitcoin as a currency and that is why it has exploded. Wait until India accept it. Don't say I didn't share it with you all. You can thank me later.

PS Don't have to buy bitcoin, there are plenty of others. Make the money then convert it to bitcoin. Do your research. I have.

Yeh, well the fairly obvious problem with the predicted 2030 price is that it is based on the fixed supply of bitcoin If the supply of bitcoin remains fixed, and other governments approve of its use, competitors will emerge. There is zero mention of that possibility in the final article linked.

Bitcoin is fixed at 21 million coins being mined. The end. You cannot mine anymore. I'm not saying put all your eggs in one basket. Buy litecoin. monero, etherium and ripple. I have.

Bitcoin is superior because over 100,000 merchants and vendors accept bitcoin as payment. There is a bitcoin atm in Sydney now and a dentist in Sydney already accepts bitcoin as payment. Imagine what it was like for people in ancient times when money was introduced and they stopped using the barter system. They would have thought the same as people now with virtual currency. Just like the gold standard with currency or the reliance on it previously the finite supply of virtual currency is another way of trying to do similar.

My thoughts.

I certainly don't take financial advice from anyone who says only put in what you can afford to lose

Don't do it. There is a risk, no doubt. I've made some money and am now only using what I've made. Just trying to let you guys know that's all. Your choice. Not for everyone. I understand that.

Sounds like your trying to talk me out of it for some reason. I'm definitely going to mortgage the house and invest now

Sounds more like he wants more people to invest thus driving the value of his investment up. Classic Vengey
