I don't blame the boomers. It isn't like they asked for this. And I am in a nice situation so can't complain. I feel for 20ylds now trying to make their way however. If they aren't born into money they are set for a fairly tough slog.

It's actually become almost impossible for a single person to survive without sharehouse renting. Owning a place now is basically out of reach unless have a partner.
It isn't a great situation.

I honestly do not know how so many can continually still afford to pay Sydney house prices.
I can't even afford to do so.
The only way out for our kids is the way we are going. High rise apartments.
They better forget the luxury we had 40 years ago - an affordable quarter acre block with a project home plonked on it.
For most, those days are long gone.
