You merkins who watch Better call Saul must watch it on Stan ? If so, you do watch it on your smart TV, your PC, tablet or maybe Apple Air or Chromecast ?

Same question goes to youse Netflix merkins. How do you watch it ?

I have my PS3 set up so that it thinks it is located in the UK, so I get UK Netflix + BBC iplayer etc, and my smart TV set up normally (currently use the Aus Netflix). Haven't had time to really watch much on either, but will get around to it.

Tried Stan for a few months, went back to Netflix (US)

Chromecast is the only way to go for mine, I also watch all the WSL (surfing) comps live using Chromecast and other things that I stream. You can still do other shit on your computer if you stream using Chromecast where as if you have it hard wired with HDMI cable, you cant do jack shit on your puter while you stream

I download all my stuff. I get about 200Gb/mth and that easily covers me.

Yes, Avenger, I've seen The Wire and thought it was a fanstastic show. It's definitely in my Top 5, too.

I'm a little bit irked cos it seems that theses new players (Stan, Netflix etc) have gone and outbid Foxtel and secured rights to House of Cards, Better Call Saul etc. So don't count on them being on Foxtel at all it seems.

Foxtel needs to drastically reduce their prices. They have been ripping us for decades.'

Yeh, well Netflix *made* House of Cards and OITNB and a few others....so they didn't really have outbid Foxtel.

well Foxtel have put out their own version called Presto and its expensive compared to the others ($15/month) so you would think what ever is licensed to Fox would be licensed to Presto

There is apparently another one coming out soon as well.

The problem with Foxtel is that they make you get their shit "basic" package. I just want it for sport and if they gave me that on it's own i would keep it.

I have had it for 15 years but am about to give it up and just buy the NRL Season pass on the NRL app for $90 a year.

I already buy the cricket one which is $30 a year and the NFL Gamepass which is $200 a year.

I don't need Foxtel.

Yep it's a fragmented market and so everybody loses. It's probably the only time I'd prefer a monopoly.
