If we're going to win the premiership, we have to beat the best teams. There is no easy option.

If we lose next week, in two weeks, or indeed in the decider, we obviously are not good enough to win the premiership.

We can beat any team in the competition on our day. It's just a matter of finding 'our day'..

the only plus out of this is that i get to see the boys live one more time this year :)

win this weekend gents... you'll have a massive contingent supporting you when you come to the best city in australia (who, by chance, have the worst idea of what 'real' sport is..)

Heres an issue. The are 2 sanctioned grounds for finals in Melbourne. Etihad and MCG. AFL grand Final is on Saturday so MCG is out and at etihad the following is on

VFL Grand Final

Friday 25 Sep 2009
Gates Open: 3:00 PM
The VFL Grand Final will be played on the eve of the AFL Grand Final at Etihad Stadium on Friday 25 September, 2009 at 7.10pm.
The TAC Cup Grand Final will be played before the match, commencing at 4.10pm.
Further match information and ticketing details will be updated shortly.

WATCH THIS SPACE.... where will the game be played

if dragons won yesterday

there is really no home advantage for the dragons in week 3 except for its in nsw, but the ground is netural to the dragons as it would be against manly or the broncos, who probably have a better record at that ground then the dragons would

ok the thing would be in dragons favour is they may the majority of the fans

Eels played with more to live for yesterday, if we played to with their enthusiasm we would've trounced them, ala the previous week. We treated the previous week more like a do or die match than yesterday. Think Benny knows by now our boys play better in do or die situations.

So Olympic Park is now gone for renovations, MCG and Etihad are gone for AFL GF's, where would our Storm game be? Haven't they finished building the new Melbourne NRL ground by now - supposedly at start of the season they were hoping on being there before end of this season.

There was an email sent to storm members saying it will be played on saturday night at etihad after the AFL grand final.

Good to see the game is taking it right to the AFL bastards, even if it was forced on Gallop by scheduling

what a sh*te night to play...

AFL grand final night is atrocious in melbourne... it's 2nd busiest only to NYE...

for those coming down to stay, make sure you book either in the city or close to it... getting taxi's etc is a nightmare....

at anz dragons have a poor record and manly and the broncos would have the better record there, they would be more confident in winning there then the dragons would

so tell me how is that an advantage for the dragons in week 3
even the sfs , the broncos and manly have a higher winning percentage then the dragons
having a week off means little for a team like the dragons they are better off playing weekly against stronger sides and beat them on those sides homeground, would give the dragons more confidence then a week off would
The dragons have a great record at suncorp , of course they are going to prefer to play there then at the sfs or anz, in week 3 if they play the storm its at elihad an ground which the dragons would feel more confident then at the storms regular home ground
