Ikin and Lara (even Hooper to a degree) was right in saying there is obviously something wrong with the environment at Canberra that goes back to John Bateman wanting out last year and all the dramas this year and it falls on the coach and CEO. Kent sticking up for his mate wasn't having a bar of it. Idiot.

Any other coach that had the record of discontent that Stuart has had over the past 12 months, Hooper and Kenty would be right in to (like they were with Siebold).... Bateman, gone early. Hodgson, stood down as skipper, apparently looking elsewhere. Tapine's missus taking to social media questioning coach's tactics. Williams, gone. Papali'i dropped, form has nosedived... then there's Sticky's history of pissing off just about every number 7 he's ever had playing for him....

It could just be that the signing of pommy merkins has totally backfired on Canberra. It seemed like a masterstroke early on when they were all happy and firing .... but maybe the covid separation has taken its toll on them - no possibility of seeing family and friends - and its unsettled them ..... then when they try and get out Canberra is getting the shits and it all goes south .... its kinda understandable a club might get a bit narky when players want to piss off mid contract

Also .... I've always believed Ricky has a used by date on his presence at a club .... I think he wears thin on alot of players ..... happened at roosters, happened at sharks - hell it started to happen at parra but thank the footy gods he f**ked off

I was quite impressed with Ikin tonight. He challenged the Hooper and Kent scenarios pushing there is a bigger issue at Canberra and not just a George Williams issue.
Moving on to poor Victor, Hooper also did the Drown should be in goal angle by comparison while Ikin said he watched the incident many times and pretty much said it was unlucky it ended so seriously comparing to many hed seen similar where no one was hurt.
Nobody still wants to mention Morris's action in driving the 7s knees into his chest. I still reckon this is how his lung was punctured.

Passable first 6 months (explore some nice restaurants, markets are good, some nice pubs)

Horrid after that, particularly throughout winter
