Anyone know what Pick The Score paid tonight?
Aust 28 NZ 12
Aust 28 NZ 12
JT will be playing tonight. Even so I believe 16.5 is too many for the Australians to give up tonight, the line has clearly been set based on the one off game end of last year. On paper it's still a fairly weak Kiwi team however unlike last year they are playing for a coach(es) that they actually respect sand with the history around this game expect a much more concerted effort by the men in black tonight
Raiders are 1-3 ATS on the road this season which highlights how poor they have been away from Canberra this season and it's something that has been the case for the last few seasons. It's therefore hard to see that they get inside the 7.5 tonight against the Roosters, especially having watched how diabolical they were last week against the Warriors. Roosters are one team that will score opportunistic tries as a result of opponents mistakes.
The Panthers have to be a show tonight surely? They have the wood over the doggies in recent seasons having won 4 of the last 5 games between the two teams and with SBW having to back up from last night and no representation from the Panthers they should be fresh. Panthers at $2.00 is quite appealing.
No real thoughts in the game up in Townsville, will give that one a miss.
I'm quite keen on the Sea Eagles today. Whilst they have gotten to a slow start this season they are starting to pick up some momentum especially in attack. However the key today will be their defense as they are up against statistically the best attacking team of the competition this season. Sea Eagles have the best defense this season conceding only 14 PPG and the fact that they were able to limit the Broncos to only 1 try in both games played last season bodes well for them IMO. There is also too much uncertainty in the halves for the Broncos as well without Lockyer as I have doubts on whether the Stagg/Wallace duo can crack the Sea Eagles defense today. Sea Eagles with the +4.5 gets my nod. Plenty of value in the ML price as well.

So what does moneyline mean...is that another name for head to head?
I'm betting Dragons +4.5 and Broncos -5.5 today.
Lot of money was coming in for the Knights on Friday for the Monday night game, so much so that the line moved from itsopening of -/+ 11.5 down to -/+8.5. Too much I believe is being made of the fact that over half the Storm team have to back up for this game tonight, they've had 2 full days rest and add to the fact the Knights have lost to the Storm by an average of 42 points over the past 3 seasons in Melbourne I'm more than comfortable laying the 8.5 points with the premiers tonight.
The Eagles are an overrated team of plodders.
Lockyer hasn't done too much this season I don't see why they won't perform without him. Wallace has been great and with Ennis and Marsh in the side they is no shortage of creativity. They still posses more than Manly in my opinion.
Whilst you raise the strength of Manly's defense there attack has been average. There 21 PPG stat in attack is very flattered from the hiding they gave the Warriors. The truth is they are struggling in attack. Orford doesn't fire in big games and Lyon is usless.
Brisbane look a much stronger team this season so I would be prepared to overlook there performances last season. They still have a good record at home vs the Eagles.
Brisbane should have no trouble winning this game. I have talk myself into this play.

Yeah, moneyline (ML) is the same as head-to-head.
