Many people say how complex it would be to coach an NRL team. I just can't see it.
Other than hit it up for four or five and then to the air or grubber, what else is there?
Can someone name me 3 top coaching initiatives in 2009.
I have seen NRL coaching first hand.
I sat behind the coaches area in the 2005 semi final when the tigers beat the dragons at the SFS. Throughout the second half, Nathan Brown's instructions to his players via walkie talkie were very simple - 'Tell them to get it to Gaz!!!' He repeated this over an over - and that was as scientific as it got.

On offence especailly its like American football without the 40sec break to discuss the play.
A simpleton like yourself...
:lol::lol:Ive applied for the newcastle coaching job in the past and i can tell you it isnt easy.
They make you write a blueprint of what you are hoping to achieve.
Run you through a playa personnell management test and see your view on the players.
Tha guy who wrote the stuff about the chess flow understand it to.
When i coach my under 12s i need to have them doing intense weights, decoy plays, knowing who the players in the opposition to injure are. Teaching them correct tackling technique, talent scouting islanders etc etc.
My point is it isnt easy for me in under 12s so imagine what it is in the NRL?
Just the fact i had to write 1000 words for an essay for my vision in my newcastle coaching application shows how tough it can be.
When i saw it i was like all' screewwww that'.

Yeah because thats what they do, sit around & discuss things for 40 secs at a time.
With the exception of trying to score points it really has SFA to do with anything like Gridiron. Well unless you consider skateboarding & F1 similar being that they are both on 4 wheels...
