The finals are played out like a normal NRL Top 8 Final Series.
Week 1:
First Qualifying Final: The team in first position plays the team in fourth place (1 vs 4)
Second Qualifying Final: The team in second position plays the team in third place (2 vs 3)
First Elimination Final: The team ranked fifth plays the squad ranked eighth (5 vs 8)
Second Elimination Final: The sixth-placed club plays the seventh-placed team (6 vs 7)
Finals Week 2:
1st Semi-Final: The victor of the First Elimination Final will meet the loser of the First Qualifying Final.
2nd Semi-Final: The victor of the Second Elimination Final faces the loser of the Second Qualifying Final.
The losers of these games are eliminated from the competition, while the winners progress to the Preliminary Finals.
Finals Week 3:
First Preliminary Final: Whoever wins the First Qualifying Final will play whoever wins the Second Semi-Final.
Second Preliminary Final: The victor of the First Semi-Final faces the winner of the Second Qualifying Final.
While the losers are eliminated from the tournament, the victors of these games guarantee their places in the eagerly awaited NRL Grand Final.
Week 4:
The NRL Grand Final:
The winners of both Preliminary Finals battle it out for the NRL premiership.
