Look away for a minute, Beave, but Lodge was big. He provided some necessary oomph against a Canterbury pack that had been dominating.

Heart going a million miles an hour. Bloody courageous win, Dogs flopped in late and delayed the ruck for 80mins so we couldn’t get any roll on, but dug in and made some special plays. Lehi week after week continues to look a special player. That try off the scrum was absolutely beautiful

That late hit call in the first half was a shocker, and they scored off the next set so happy to overcome that.

notice in the 2nd half when they got Olakau’atu high as he was falling, Atkins said to the bunker “he was very low” when contact was made, must be an adjustment they’ve made from what’s happened all season

10/10 on the courage meter for Tom Trbojevic too, could see the pain he was in all game. He may not have done a lot, but just his mere presence on the park took all the Dogs defenders attention for that scrum play that DCE scored

Olakau’atu is an amazing player. So is Kikau (when he wants to be).
He can be frustrating to watch at times never catching the ball at pace, but he is so hard to handle. The story of how he got his start is crazy too, had stopped playing completely and didn’t have a job so was driving Fainu to training, and the coach asked Fainu who his mate was and does he want to have a run around, and the rest is history

There are not many better combinations than his and DCE’s either. Don’t recall them linking up too often tonight but usually they’re thick as thieves. You see it in the try celebrations.

That was a great game to watch, Koula's try was something else, thought Bulldogs were the better team overall but lacked the killer punch. Beavers lives to fight another day. Hope you dust over the Roosters.
