The NRL absolutely lacks credibility on this. They want to protect the superstar and Brisbane. Absolutely no doubt about it. Blind Freddy's dog can see this.

1-2 games, regardless of precedent and he should have been the only one binned in that incident.

So weird how a defender can accidentally head clash and be punished but an offender can intentionally use his head and not be.

Raiders were screwed for mine. Sure, they had plenty of chances to win, but Young should never have been binned for a bit of shithousery. It’s the NRL’s obsession with even-handed binnings.

I don't give a shit about betting in sport, as in I could care less if the whole industry blows up because it's insidious, but I feel like that's a big deal. It's the thin edge of the wedge. If things like that were allowed to pass through, and contact with players is able to happen, there's the possibility of bigger, more organised, more dangerous groups wanting in on the deal.

Brandon Smith is a f**king idiot. He's been told since the day he went to Melbourne about approaches regarding betting. But the guy has zero impulse control.

You can't be playing along with sentences like that. What if he had scored first, and this evidence came out? He'd go to jail, right? He initiated the communication with Friend B. I know it might seem like just chat, but that's highly illegal.

Ryan Tandy went to jail, and died over something not massively dissimilar that spiraled out of control.
