I reckoned Scott Drinkwater would have been a good buy but someone here said no way. I think that he is the sort of player who could have played full back or 5/8th for us. He wasn't wanted by Bellamy, but I think Bellamy would be happy to take him back.

That may be the case, but you cant argue with who they recruited this year and next year(KIKAU and MAHONEY) like us I think their coaches have been the problem.

Look how easy the Bulldogs got rid of Barrett. They just had a quiet word with him on Sunday and said "we won't sack you but we want you gone so how about you tender your resignation, which we will gladly accept. That way the club won't be embarrassed and your mate Mr Laundy will make it worthwhile for you to go. We don't know who will want you as their head coach, but wish you luck. We think your forte is as a full-time assistant coach, never again as head coach Trent. So long".

We on the other hand had to wear Mary for all of those years and now Hook is on tenter hooks but he will stay because they don't pay out coaches contracts and grin and bear poor results until someone wakes them up and they say "who can we get? Shane is gone to the Bulldogs and they were able to get Ciraldo in as his assistant and paying them both big money - we just want cheapies again - who do you think fellas - one guy in the corner of the room who just had a cracking fart and yawned out loud says, that fella, you know, that fella with no hair on his head, you know we was great mates with him, you know that hairless head guy? ...."

The next Head coach at the Bulldogs would have to have nerves of steel and a strong gut to withstand the pressure that the Bulldogs Board and Gould will be applying. Not a comfortable feeling for the new bloke unless he can tell them all to go eff themselves and let him do his job. Like Bennett would more or less say.
