I always thought it was the premiers who were able to do that. Obviously not this year....

Second year in a row the draw has been released before the GF. It's actually a week earlier than last year this time...

Wonder if the Telegraph will be pushing for Parra to move the Round 1 match against Saints so an extra 20,000 people can get into the ground.

Or was that just an agenda Phil F*ckface had against Saints.

I think Phil is just glad you read his articles.

I don't deliberately....I saw people post them on here and read them from here.

I'm not saying Parra should move the game, I'm just wondering if the same crap will be dished out that we had to put up with.

Since Dragons and Roosters play each other twice, they might trade home games so the Roosters are at home on ANZAC Day. Can they do that? I don't really see St George moving it otherwise.

Goddo, the ANZAC Day has been at SFS every year except 2008 @ ANZ, which was the Dragons' year. It alternates between each teams home game but until 2006 both teams chose to hold it at the SFS. It's very unlikely it'll be at Kogarah or Wollongong.

A bad draw for Storm...3 away games to start with...not good.

That's what I heard - I bet Storm have to play at Ethiad or Princess Park - either that or this may be deemed an exhibition match to be played in Perth or Adelaide.

I can't see St George or Illawarra giving up even one of the 6 home games they each get. Dragons only played out of ANZ Stadium as Kogarah was unavailable due to redevelopment.

This year we didn't move the Parra game, the Dogs game, the qualifying final. How do people not get it?

Finite number of matches, split locations = no moved games. Doust is virtually obliged to this set up given the amount of money the club has recieved for upgrades, and how much more the club needs from government, as well as the expectations of its members.

The only way I really see ANZAC Day match being held at the SFS is if its a Roosters home game, or St George and Illawarra agree to 5 games each and schedule 2 big games elsewhere.

Edit: When they were talking about this years ANZAC Match, Fittler was saying he wants it there every year and they interviewed Doust on his thoughts and he said, no, not likely to happen.

Thats why I asked, can St George and Roosters swap their Home/Away matches? Its the most realistic way for it to happen.

Are Souths to play a home game in Perth, and Cronulla to play a home game in Adelaide, next season, like they did this season? I thought I heard that they had signed 2-3 year deals to play promotional games in these cities, but I am not 100% sure.

You still don't understand. ANZAC Day between the two clubs has been played at the SFS every year since 2002, excluding 2008 at ANZ. It is allocated a home game for each respective team every second year:

2002- Dragons (SFS)
2003- Roosters (SFS)
2004- Dragons (SFS)
2005- Roosters (SFS)
2006- Dragons (SFS)
2007- Roosters (SFS)
2008- Dragons (ANZ)
2009- Roosters (SFS)
2010- Dragons (SFS)

It will be back at the SFS in all likelihood. Since it's inception in 2002, it has NEVER been at Kogarah or Wollongong. The whole point of having it at the SFS has been so it's within a stones throw of the city marches.

It's nothing to do with the Rothfield agenda, it's fact which has been so for eight years now.

Wests didnt beat Melbourne before game 2 this year, what makes you think Brisbane will be any different.

You just got us by 2 points, we also had Farah and Galloway out.....But we beat you with all your stars later.....typical Tigers

Also playing Brisbane at suncorp is not like playing Melb at the graveyard...

Also Benji was playing 7 at that time...

I think you had Slater, Inglis, Smith and Johnson out where as Brisbane
may have- Hodges, Folau, Lockyer,Wallace, Thaiday,Parker and I think Glen or Kenny were 18th man for SOO at one stage....

Also Brisbane will slide next year IMO.....

Finally we will be top 4 at that stage- or sheens will have got the sack and a new coach will actually play players in their postions...

Thats just a copule of reasons of the top of my head.....

hmmm very true!

first game of the year, possbile premiers vs minor premiers..

would be absolutely massive!

don't parra sometimes move home games to ANZ occasionally?

we played parra twice there in 2008....

would definitely be a massive crowd

You are right. Cronulla will play a game in Adelaide and Souths will play one in Perth, probably during Origin period.

Grounds haven't been released yet. Timmah is just making up where the games will occur based on home grounds.
