You still don't understand. ANZAC Day between the two clubs has been played at the SFS every year since 2002, excluding 2008 at ANZ. It is allocated a home game for each respective team every second year:

2002- Dragons (SFS)
2003- Roosters (SFS)
2004- Dragons (SFS)
2005- Roosters (SFS)
2006- Dragons (SFS)
2007- Roosters (SFS)
2008- Dragons (ANZ)
2009- Roosters (SFS)
2010- Dragons (SFS)

It will be back at the SFS in all likelihood. Since it's inception in 2002, it has NEVER been at Kogarah or Wollongong. The whole point of having it at the SFS has been so it's within a stones throw of the city marches.

It's nothing to do with the Rothfield agenda, it's fact which has been so for eight years now.

Geez you are a dope. I am not talking about Rothfields agendas.

And in how many of those years were Dragons playing out of Kogarah? 03 and 09. Both Chooks home games, and 04 Dragons shifted games every chance they got because of development work. They then left to SFS and ANZ until this year.

Dragons played out of SFS when it was their home ground, and ANZ when it was Dragons home ground in 2008. C'est la vie? This year, SFS or ANZ is not a Dragons home.

I am not saying it will be at Kogarah, it will most likely be at SFS. I am saying there will have to be some concessions or switching or something to get it at SFS as I can't see St George or Illawarra giving up one of 6 home games they each get willingly.

Doust said as much in the week before the ANZAC Day game this year.

I don't deliberately....I saw people post them on here and read them from here.

I'm not saying Parra should move the game, I'm just wondering if the same crap will be dished out that we had to put up with.

I reckon Parra will move the game to ANZ.

And they will be rewarded with a 35k plus crowd.

Interesting to see if Manly take the traditional home game against Newie to Gosford, cos if they do that means no games at Brookvale until Round 5 against Cronulla, which could be huge if it's on a Sunday and promoted right.

Its been confirmed that the round one game, Parra vs St George, will be at Parramatta Stadium.

 It's been confirmed at Parramatta.

They won't switch it, it will be at the SFS, and they will give up a game at either Kogarah or the 'Gong. Fact.

The NRL wouldn't have released the draw with a Saints home game on ANZAC Day unless they intended to make that the way it is.

Souths have confirmed the following:

With 10 home games at ANZ Stadium, one home game at Bluetongue Stadium in Gosford, two away games at ANZ Stadium and the Charity Shield included in their package, 2010 Ticketed Members of the Rabbitohs will again get superb value for money when they show their allegiance in the best way possible for the new season.

http://www.rabbitohs.com.au/News/Club-News/2010-NRL-Draw-Released.html

Which games are at what venue are to be confirmed.

well once again Saints can't get the opening round at home.
Must be 7 years straight now. Unbelievable.

We must have the hardest draw of the lot after 6 rounds...I'll be more than happy to be 3/3 after 6 rounds.

That's nothing. This will be the 10th straight season the Raiders haven't been at home for round 1.

Plus our 2 byes are only separated by 2 rounds. f**k you NRL.

There is no guarantee that the game will be at the SFS. It is a Dragons home game and they get to choose where the game is played. If they choose Kogarah the NRL can not force them to move the game.

The only guarantee is that it is on ANZAC day

I wish the NRL would take advantage of Labour Day in Queensland. A Monday twighlight fixture at Carrara or Suncorp would be perfect.

The nerve of the Eels, locking out 60,000 people by not moving the game to the Olympic Stadium. Disgraceful.

Exactly. Timmah is full of it. Thats why I am saying there must be some sort of carrot dangled to get the Dragons to shift it, or they swap home matches with the Roosters, as the current 6/6 split between Kogarah and Woollongong will be difficult to alter.

I will give you a phonetic guarantee that we will move the game to the SFS.

The real question is, which key community must sacrifice a game? Hopefully not Kogarah.

It's been Kogarah every other time that has happened, I can't imagine it changing now.

Yes but I couldn't have imagined us playing our home semi at Jubilee as opposed to Win Stadium. Perhaps I can be afforded another surprise.

I think the Dragons will play it at SFS, all I'm saying is that some work will need to be done by the NRL to get St George to move it given the situation there.

I have seen confirmed somewhere that R4 Storm v Dragons is to be held @ Etihad Stadium, with Storm v Sea Eagles in R6 being the opening day for the MRS.
