Sitting here watching NRL on Fox, and they spent the first 20 minutes telling everyone that Finch was basically in the top echelon of halfbacks. Laurie Daley and Wiz talked him up, gee it was a bit embarrassing as they weren't balanced at all.

Ex players I guess, and Lozza being a friend, they also were critical of DA putting his stamp on the place, talk about agendas, that coupled with the idiot we had last year it makes you wonder when players etc don't actually see anything other than opportunity to support someone they know, rather than their performance

Yep watched that segment and was absolutlely sickened by it ...no mention of the fact that he can't kick or pass the ball .....and the revelation of what sort of money he was on ? Absolutely unbelievable .......anything over 150 000 for him is a waste of money ......

From what I can gather, he reckons they told him not to bother having an injection for his shoulder for this weekend, yet they named him at halfback? And that Ando won't hold his spot for him.... He also denied the unfit mental state??

If he is owed a million he is on $400K. NRL contracts begin in October, he has fulfilled 6 months.

ahh ok. wont get to exited about possible big name recruits then. parra and negotiations with walkouts usually means the player gets a holiday with full pay.

If that figure for finch is anywhere near close, it just continues to underline what damage the gormless ex coach now masquerading as an expert did to our club.

You would think he would keep his opinion to himself, and at the same time the experts should acknowledge that most supporters are very, very happy. The other issue they mentioned about crowds etc, again no profile from Hagan and a team that lacks names and box office, thanks Michael

DF needs to go. Anyone associated with extendng Finch or paying him anything more than 150 k should be sacked.

One of my pet hates was that when we were negotiating, Parra staff participated in news limited interviews talking him up as our most imprtant player, and rating him as a top half. We then extended him for 3 years and the whole thing smacked of us letting ourself be taken for a ride.

A complete and utter shambles. The sacking is the best part of it. The circus of last year was the disaster, not the current decision.
