And we’ve done that for two Grand Final appearances in a row!
We also did it after 86. We should be winning this poll by the length of the straight. I mean which other club would give Bea Arthur over 10 years??? Tell me another club who re-signs the coach after a 60 point hiding coming off a wooden spoon season??? Only @ Parra.

Yeah but I wasn’t alive in 86 so that one doesn’t live rent free in my head, also at least they won 86.

Simpler explanation for me and just two points required.
Number A: Which club signs a baldy to coach.
Number B: Which club resigns a baldy.

Tigers are so bad I've even met a bunch of fans that would be content with the club folding to stop the embarrassment. But is feeling embarrassed a Mental Health issue? They may be mistreated, but Tigers fans seem level-headed.

Parramatta fans get so into brief moments of success they have this weird sense of grandeur. This delusion is definitely a mental health concern. They also proclaim Gutherson 'King' which clearly shows their judgement is severely damaged.

Raiders fans may have mental health concerns, but it's more from the majority having to live in Canberra. But when they go mentally ill, they go hard - look at skeepe.

Warriors fans are kiwis. I'm not sure if that's a mental health issue or not. Either way it's generally entertaining (except for their victim complex).

It would make sense for Titans fans to be mentally unwell. How many underperforming clubs will they have on the Gold Coast. But then they get to escape to their beaches, so there is at least a healthy outlet. I'm sure all 10 of their fans are doing ok.

Knights fans are loyal as you can be, even when the club doesn't deserve it. I would say it's textbook Stockholm Syndrome, but if you've spent much time in Newcastle, it makes sense why they'd go to the games. At least they've have success in the last 30 years.

Dragons fans - still clinging onto the glory days of the 1960s, praising players despite despicable off-field actions, and are known to have well-known neo-nazi as a fan. Then there are the Steelers fans that still cling to hope that their club hasn't been completely eradicated (it has). Similar to Eels fans, it's this weird delusion that has encapsulated the fans.

So to answer the question - all NRL fans a mentally ill.

Tigers are on the up and I for one am happy for them.

Parra are... well, they're doing Parra things.

My vote would be the Gold Coast.

They might have a good team and a decent season this year but when has anyone talked about them being a serious threat for a Premiership in any of their decades they have existed?

It'd be one of those teams like the Eels where one week they're playing awesome and look like world beaters and then the next week they get towelled up by a team in the bottom 4. The Eels have had that issue for years, Cronulla, Dragons, Knights, Warriors etc.

Seems frustrating as a fan to see your team play so well and then a week later they're the shits.

This Year?

It's Parra and it's not close. If the last time you won was when it was Prince, The Divinyls and Belinda Carlisle were the singing the top 10 hits rather than Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Amy Shark, well it is self explanatory. Also they often make finals and tease their fans. Having grown up in the Parra district and still knowing heaps of their fans, I don't know how many times I've heard them start talking it up being the year.

And as a Tigers fans I can say our last few years have been less stressful for my mental health than all the ninth place years. You would be looking at the table each week and when you botched games costing a finals spot it would hurt more. Also you would think well next year we take another step forward and make the finals, but then you wouldn't and be in the same spot again.

Has the Gold Coast ever produced a champion team in ANY sports league?

Mind you, if I was living there I'd be more content to just muck around & play in the water than follow sports.
