Might be part of the Monday night pregame show.

Monday night's coverage will go for 3 1/2 hours, starting at 6pm, then the game at 7pm, and finishing at 9:30 with the wrap up of the game and a quick look at the rest of the round. Having NRL Scoreboard before the final game is a little crazy, and waiting until Tuesday is just as insane, seeing you've got NRL On Fox on the next night.

I imagine the various components of NRL Scoreboard (highlights of each game, main talking points and discussion) will occur during the MNF coverage, either in the hour before the game starts, or the approx. 45 mins afterwards. They will just do it from the ground, like they do with their Super Saturday Show from 4pm.

As well ad the three and a half hours on Monday Night, they also have a new half-hour show on Tuesdays at 7pm - NRL Teams (I assume this will be similar to the AFL one, where they look at each of the announced teams for the week, and discuss the ins and outs)

A great idea, maybe someone on Fox has got the message.Live beats replay any day.Nothing better than watching a live game involving your team(if you can't make it) ,or live if you have the choice of 2 and pick what you consider to be the better clash. The fans win,the pay TV mob gets better ratings.
Waiting around to 9-30pm to a replay of the 2nd game is not as good IMO.
2 live rugby league games at 7030pm on pay tv,will further stick it up the AFL ducks live on 10 on saturdays.

surely they can split any 2 channels if they can do this

that'd be perfect, the lady can watch desperate housewives or whatever other sh*t is on whilst i watch the footy!

THis will only be good if

a) both channels are widescreen

b) they dont split the bandwith in half hence the terrible picture quality already getting twice as worse

otherwise bad idea.

I got fox put on over the summer, i worked out that it was costing me more to go down the pub at 5.30 on sat arvo have an average of 4 beers per game (3 games on saturdays) weekly then it would cost to have a foxtel subscription and get a case of beer.

But then you'll have to buy 2 cases of beer
