It’s not facts

It’s afl bs which you quickly jumped up and parroted

The fact you think a troll makes good sense shows where your mind set is at
Lets just refresh our memories shall we?

The giants don’t get more sponsors than most Sydney teams
Giants $13.5mill in sponsorship in 2024
Cronulla sharks $7.1mill
Panthers $12mill
Souths $11.8mill
Tigers $6.5mill
Eels $12.3mill (inc corporate game day sales)

Troll comes here and look who took his bait

You just make it easy for them

When are you going to be angry the afl tried to kill your team

That’s not the sign of a sport which is doing well on the expansion front

again diversion away from the facts. Stop making BS claims and spend 5mins on google before making yourself look stupid.

Now would you like to discuss why you think a basketcase club like GWS can better most NRL clubs in sponsorship?

I’ve told you I looked at the accounts and I find the figures to be bs

The club was technically insolvent before they were given some mysterious property worth 30 million by the tax payer

How much of that is from Sydney and how much from Canberra ?

How much are they counting memberships given away for free at full prices

The clubs bottom line profit is awful

How can you tell the sponsorship figure is BS by looking at the GWS accounts?

Im just talking the sponsorship revenue of GWS v NRl clubs in Sydney, which is the claim you made.
Stop diverting to other areas and lest discuss your original claim shall we?

Cause the club is a basketcase and since the afl owns them is very careful about the information it releases

Are they including the deal with the Canberra govt as sponsorship revenue ?

Have a look at the expenses and you tell me if you think those expenses don’t look weird

When it comes to anything afl their figures are bs

Esp financials

The club made a cash profit of 250k and that’s with a million dollar benefit from govt funding

Cronulla made a 4 million dollar cash flow last year with their leagues club closed

So dunno where all that sponsorship money gws is going

So call the ATO and ASIC and report them. It's pretty simple to make a tip that they are defrauding the govt since you know more than the auditors who have reviewed the financials.

I'm not talking membership figure lol

Well I suppose if we are comparing apples with apples we would also have to take out the money Souths, Parra, Panthers etc get for hosting games in other locations as well if you don't, bizarrely, consider this legit sponsorship revenue?

Yeh sure take out the 300k those clubs get from Darwin and Bathurst and the 2.85 million the giants get from Canberra

Let’s compare fairly.

Do that and all of a sudden the giants revenue is below a number of Sydney clubs … even if you beleive their figures

Eels were getting $1mill a year from NT, Panthers deal was $300k in 2017, pretty sure its a fair chunk more by now.
Souths $500k+ to play in Perth and Gosford and so it goes on.

Why dont you consider these legit sponsorship revenues? Oh that's right it doesnt suit your narrative lol

That GWS, a club you claim is basket case with no interest in it, is even close, let alone ahead of, any Sydney NRL club for sponsorship revenue is pretty amazing really.
Either they are punching well above their weight or Sydney NRl clubs are failing miserably in this area. Which do you think it is?

Nah stop making up bs and provide links to what Penrith Souths and parra are getting like I did with the Canberra giants

Once you account for that they then it’s clear the original claim was bs

The obvious answer is that they don't draw sponsorship just from the Sydney market. There's no way even a fumble apologist like you is claiming that GWS approaches any NRL club in Sydney.

Eels deal. $1mill ten years ago, could wellbe worth more by now

There is no evidence of waht Souths or Pantehrs currently get in their deals. I know WA govt was paying $500k a game for NRL club to bring games here. No evidence of what Gosford is paying Souths.

Panthers Bathurst deal $300k figure was from 2017. Not been any updated figure put out but I doubt its remained static for 7 years. Council hides the figure as sites 'commercial confidentiality' to keep its rate payers in the dark.

Again why do you not consider this sponsorship revenue? If a city or stadium wants to sponsor a club to take a game or three there then its a legit source of sponsorship revenue is it not?

In sponsorship yes they do, in fact they better a number. Any other metric not close. But Im arguing the toss with Wb on sponsorship not on other metrics.
