The 'magic's' done for another year and we're into the 'origin' period, where our great club competition takes a back seat.

We'll go out with a bang tonight though, the Storm host the Broncos. Who do you support here? It's like the two school bullies going at it.

Friday at Olympic Park has the Bulldogs taking on the 'slightly worried' Warriors, with our anxiety increased a notch by the return of the 'The Fox', then it's the usual prime-time blockbuster, the Panthers and Roosters.

Saturday, in-form Souths should halt the Tigers winning streak, particularly because Doueihi is out with another cruel, long-term, injury. The Cowboys might've come good and, if so, then it's another defeat coming for the struggling Saints. The Raiders v Eels is a tight one to pick. You'd favour the home side, at this time of year, and especially at night, but then Eels are getting restless. They expect much better.

Sunday, the magic-less Knights are fresh from a week off but they host the GC fresh off an upset win. The main game has Manly hosting Cronulla. What do they call it, the battle of the beaches?

Enjoy.

Walsh making Origin? Not with that defence. Spill the bomb, give away a try, that can lose you an Origin game.

Edit: Katoa! Nooooooo! You can take the boy from the Warriors but you can't take the Warriors from the boy.

He was thinking about his try celebration then in came Mann to knock the ball out. How embarassing.

But wait there is more.
You can hold the marker now and score?
Pene in bin for taking Flegs to ground.
Flag joins him for being naughty to often.

Flogler holding the marker and the dummy half going through to score was the most bizarre call I have seen this season, just a blatant no try

Walters post match “my contract isn’t big enough to pay the fine” when asked about the refs lol

Panthers 48, Roosters 4. Final.

Geez. Are Penrith back? Was Luai playing for his Blues' spot? Is Robinson wasting another top roster?
