The Chooks have put a score on Penrith. This round's becoming the necessary shot in the arm the NRL season needs.

Edit: 38-32, Roosters. Final. Phew, never count the Panthers out. We know this, of course we do.
Still, it's an upset and sets up an interesting game next week at Mt Smart.

Amazing and soft 10 in the bin at the end couldn't get the Panthers over the line.
Pity their points diff improved because of it.

Penrith very un Penrith and flat, just one game but they’ve lost a few unlosable games in recent years

The ‘home’ ground wasn’t great

That centre who's come across to the Roosters from Union is pretty decent
pretty sure he was predominantly a winger in union so hes learning a new position as well as a new code. I was impressed also.

Six minutes to go in a thriller in Wollongong, 24-all. Souths equalised.

Edit: it wasn't the plan but Souths have the lead, Humphries with a 31-metre field-goal.

25-24, Souths. Two mins left...but Dragons knock on, with a full set to do something. Souths win!

0-3 in my picks this week, got 4 of 8 last week...it's hilarious listening to Levels and Willie Mason says nup Warriors will lose by 13+, so will Roosters, might even be 40+, and Souths can't win. Then the opposite happens. That's part of why our game is the best

The ground's only 'half full' at kick-off in Townsville. Let's hope it's all about late-comers and not about the local fans zoning out.

Edit: the Sharks were way too good up there, 36-12.

Pretty disappointing for the Dragons…. Again though, lot of ordinary teams, Panthers and Storm will be looking forward to the grand final, Sharks and maybe Brisbane looking to threaten

They play each other next week, with crazy Big Nelson back after his 'five-match' ban. Remember, he served out three of those games for the Kiwis! A bastard act.

He was definitely missed in last year's GF though.

Did the bunker honestly just say he knocked the ball into his own leg??
Totally ignoring the whole disrupter in the challenge!

He’s was but wouldn’t have changed the result

And he’s just a dick

So the LV winners and losers have been reversed this round. All we need is a Canberra loss to complete number four.

I picked the Broncos, but would be very happy if the Raiders beat them

Damn, Canberra going on with it from last week and giving Brisbane a touch up, makes me feel a bit better about last week though even then I thought they looked like a damn good team.

After 26 dreadful minutes the Tigers are showing this is, in fact, an NRL game. Some great back play and three nice tries.

16-0, halftime. If the Eels get them by full-time I want Benji gone by Monday!

Edit: the Tigers double their score in the second half. 32-6 win. Well done Wests and Benji.

Will be interesting to watch if Hasler can get some defence into this Titans side

They have a sensational pack, plenty of exciting attack from the likes of Brimson, Campbell and Kini and 1 of the best finishers in the game as well out wide.

they are my most interesting side to watch this season

Caught a snip of Gould's six tackles podcast last week where he said something similar... if he could coach any team today, reckons it'd be the Titans.

Real shame Foran's out again... obviously a super experienced game manager, plus it'd allow Campbell and Brimson to attack a wee bit wider too. Dunno if he'd make a major difference to their defensive issues but he wouldnt lack effort at least.
