Trouble at Souths! We really needed them on the field this week, to add to the off-field chatter. Whoever meets them in the final week might be in a spot of bother, I reckon.

Thursday, we have the Panthers and Parra. They really did mess with the Eels' minds didn't they? Penrith, I mean and last year's GF to be specific. If that game was closer then who knows how things could've been different this year for an Eels side that just looked really fragile?

Friday, Johnson's 250th v a Dragons side itching to spoil the show. The Dolphins are finishing the last two weeks in Brisbane, it's been a fair first season and their penultimate opponent, the Cowboys, have it all to do staying alive this year.

Saturday, Melbourne won't fall for any Titans spoil-sport nonsense. Ditto the Roosters, who just have too much to lose v a bouncy Wests. Canberra could see themselves slide out of contention if they can't contain Brisbane, but that's not who Sticky wants in front of his troops at this point.

Sunday, the Bulldogs host Manly, with the spoon still possible for Ciraldo and Gould. Reuban Garrick wants to play with a fractured back! What's the charnze of Seibold agreeing to that? We close with blue-collar Newy again ditching the fluoro for blue, red and white v Cronulla, with both sides in form and with finals on their minds.

Enjoy.

Cartwright with a shoulder drop tackle to dislocate Luai shoulder in try scoring action.
Might have to look at a rule change not allowing players to be tackled over the line as it could result in an injury like tonight.
Might have to make it like the NFL and just break the plane. o_O

This isn't the late-season blockbuster the NRL thought it would be when they made the draw last year. Parra are putting on a show, but this is their last game of the season.

It looks like it but does this mean we'll likely play Penrith in week one rather than Brisbane (presuming we finish third and Brisbane finish first?)

Is so, bugger that.
Brisbane might well lose one...Storm and Canberra..

Yep,
But I say if we win this week we rest a few against the Dolphins knowing we are in the top 4 no matter what.
3rd most likely playing Panthers
4th most likely playing Broncos.
But Para winning tonight was not on the cards.

I’ve nearly had to change phone providers the last couple of days, can’t get rid of the ‘Upthewahs’ rubbish in the top left corner :p

A big win for the Cowboys, they're still in it and I feel quite pleased about that. There's worse teams out there from a neutral's perspective.

It's tight in Canberra, 18-16, Raiders. Thirty mins to go. The next try is crucial.

Edit: bugger, it's the Broncos that score...and again...29-18, Brisbane. Final.
