Trouble at Souths! We really needed them on the field this week, to add to the off-field chatter. Whoever meets them in the final week might be in a spot of bother, I reckon.
Thursday, we have the Panthers and Parra. They really did mess with the Eels' minds didn't they? Penrith, I mean and last year's GF to be specific. If that game was closer then who knows how things could've been different this year for an Eels side that just looked really fragile?
Friday, Johnson's 250th v a Dragons side itching to spoil the show. The Dolphins are finishing the last two weeks in Brisbane, it's been a fair first season and their penultimate opponent, the Cowboys, have it all to do staying alive this year.
Saturday, Melbourne won't fall for any Titans spoil-sport nonsense. Ditto the Roosters, who just have too much to lose v a bouncy Wests. Canberra could see themselves slide out of contention if they can't contain Brisbane, but that's not who Sticky wants in front of his troops at this point.
Sunday, the Bulldogs host Manly, with the spoon still possible for Ciraldo and Gould. Reuban Garrick wants to play with a fractured back! What's the charnze of Seibold agreeing to that? We close with blue-collar Newy again ditching the fluoro for blue, red and white v Cronulla, with both sides in form and with finals on their minds.
Enjoy.
