I'm glad Harrigan's "no separation" bullsh*t has been shown to be exactly that.

His coaching of other video refs to rule on that basis has been nonsense, and I hope this is the start of some proper scrutiny of the system, to make the technology assist the laws of the game, not the other way around.

He wants everything...wants to be assistant coach, wants to be figurehead, wants to be spokesperson, wants to be the messiah.

Ray was a MIGHTY player for the Eels, not many better, or tougher. NOT many more spilt more blood for the Club than he. He deserved to have a statue erected at the Stadium..he deserves to be able to give the players an inspiring pre match talk and to hand them jumpers before the game...

BUT he needs to butt out of the coaching strategies of the coach, and STOP making ridiculous statements in the Press. Adopt a profile of blokes like Mick Cronin and Ron Hilditch..

STOP making a goose of yourself Ray. Let the fans remember you as one of the all time greats, and not a publicity seeking former player of a past era --- It is 2010 NOT 1986... The game has changed..it has moved on..time for you to do the same..enjoy it Ray and
