We'd be much better off throwing cash at union grassroots clubs and converting them to RL clubs! We could double Jnrs overnight lol

That’s making the assumption that those currently playing Union would even want to play league, outside of 4-5 positions being relatively transferable both sports have specialised positions that don’t necessarily translate.
Super rugby is still under the SANZAAR umbrella so would involve convincing 5 countries - 2 of which possibly haven’t even heard of league
