That's some quality stupid there. The rules in the regional competitions are different from the top flight games. My question was directed to the NRL... how many NRL players?!

We all know the many league players have passed away this year. That is sad, God rest their souls, but what I'm trying to understand is that... in the 100 or so years of this game, prior to all these softening rule changes, no players have died as a result of the actions that have forced rule changes in the top flight game.
I agree that these rule changes are necessary in the junior or semi-pro competitions, but not the main game. How on earth can a 110kg professional prop die from a shoulder charge when he trains 6 hours a week on the running maneuver?
i would but he's non responsive lol

Probably a bit too soon.
One thing I wanna point out though is Cameron Smith is taking advantage of the James Ackerman situation to deflect attention from his Alex McKinnon controversy.

So they quickly change the rules on a tackle (1st of the year in the NRL) that results in no injury to a player. Another over reaction to the media.
The knee jerk reactions from this administration never cease to amaze me.
