Not in person. Spirit is willing but 10k miles is a stretch.

Watched most of Eels v Bulldogs livestream. Mainly to see Paige Travis. Hard to make sense of proceedings with all the interchange toing and froing.

Tuned into Sharks v Roosters. Ref immediately delivered a ludicrous lost-ball call. No bunker so nothing the player could do. Tuned straight back out. Who controls NRLW officials? Would be a godsend if an edict were issued along the lines of "Stop looking for things to call".

Comp hasn't started and, with suspensions added to injuries, already a fair number of absentees across NRLW squads.

Warriors list begs a few questions. AFAIK, they haven't played any trials. And yet for Sunday v Roosters -

"The Warriors will be without ex-knights forward Felila Kia with a calf injury, while Lavinia Tauhalalika (shoulder) and Kalyn Takitima-Cook (hamstring) join her in the casualty ward. Mya Hill-Moana is unavailable after giving birth in April and Metanoia Fotu-Moala will miss the game as she is getting married this weekend"

The wedding explanation is consistent with the life of an amateur player. Doubtless there will be extenuating circumstances. Nonetheless, contriving to be unavailable for the opening round of an 11-game regular season whilst signing a professional contract seems remiss at best.
