I reckon DWZ was the last Bulldog to play the ball facing the wrong way. Shades of knock-on derangement syndrome. Standard practice in modern RL for a player to knock the ball backwards, only for the ref to call knock-on, making a signal in the opposite direction from which the ball travelled.

Referring to the game played in the NRL as "League" and another game as "Rugby" is like Americans referring to American Football as "League" and another game as "Football".

not at all nothing is the same anywhere. Look at Soccer and football .

But you are getting close to my pet peeve which is calling rugby league NRL. NRL is a particular competition. Rugby league is a sport

Maddie Studdon back in NRLW with the Dragons on Saturday. Her type of game has fallen out of favour among today's coaches. Might have been a similar fate for Peter Sterling if he were playing in the modern era.
